Roy Kanevsky / רועי קנבסקי
 

Roy Kanevsky is a filmmaker based in Tel Aviv.

​

He has written and directed three independent short films, including ׳The Fisherman’s Wife׳, which screened at the Izmir International Short Film Festival, and ׳The Guard,׳ which won the Short on the Way award and was selected for the Clermont-Ferrand Market Picks.

 

His direction has been described as “sharp and precise, crafting subtle, melancholic comedy.”

Kanevsky is currently developing his debut feature film, Retreat, which recently took part in Produire au Sud #9 in Nantes, France.
